The Liberty Missouri Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host a traditional Pioneer Day Celebration, with an emphasis on America’s 250th Birthday, on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 10 am to Noon.

The activity, which is open to the community, will be held at the Shoal Creek Living History Museum (located in Hodge Park at 7000 NE Barry Rd), an outdoor park filled with historic buildings including a water mill, wishing well, church, post office, and school house.

There’s something special about gathering together to remember our pioneer heritage in a place that feels so much like Nauvoo,” Brandi Hastings, Stake Activities Chair said. “We’re looking forward to a meaningful morning with our stake members filled with history, connection and fun. Please bring your family and friends!”

The celebration will start with a flag raising at 10 am, followed by pancake breakfast, Trek Youth Singers, congregation challenges, homestead crafts, pioneer games, ‘Little Trekkers’ Junction and more.
